A Night In Bethlehem - A Night In Bethlehem Faith Creek’s First Annual A Night In Bethlehem was held on December 12, 2009. The members of the church turned the fellowship hall into a street in Bethlehem to include a Spice Shop where visitors could see what spices were available during the time of Christ birth. There was a Scribe, who for a piece of silver, would write down the initials of visitors in Hebrew. Of course, there was a Candy Shop, that seemed to be one of the more popular stores. The Bakery owner taught visitors how to make butter and you could purchase a wonderful bakery good for just a gold coin. When the people would visit the Toy Store the two young women would teach the boys and girls how to make a top or a doll from the time of the census. Anyone could pay for some beads and string to make themselves a wonderful necklace at the Jewelry Shop or they could purchase one that the owner had already created…of course, for one gold coin.
