Help with Audio Controls |
|
| On the Music Ministry page and the More Music page, a random song should be selected and begin playing when the page loads. To listen to a different song, click the title of the song you want to hear. On the Sermons page, you must click a sermon title to launch the player. |
| |
| The player should look something like this (depending on the media player you have installed). | |
| |
| If it looks like this, you need to click the Play button to start the song. | |
| |
| | If you see the control and the progress bar is moving, but you still do not hear sound, verify that your speakers are connected and not muted. | |
| |
| If you see an empty control area, you are most likely blocking the control with your browser settings. | |
|
| The following instructions assume you are using a Windows XP® operating system and an IE browser. If you are using another version of Windows, the screens make look different, but the general instructions should be same. If you are using a non-windows operating system or a different browser, please consult your user manuals for how to accomplish these tasks on your specific system. |
| |
| In Internet Explorer®, select the Tools menu, select Internet Options..., select the Security Tab, then click the Custom Level button. | |
| |
Scroll down and click the Enable radio button under Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
Click OK, click Yes on the dialog box that ask if you are sure you want change the security settings, click OK on the Internet Options dialog, then press Ctrl +F5 to refresh the page in the browser.
| |
If you still do not see the control, select the Tools menu again, select Manage Add Ons... and verify that ActiveX Control for playing WAV files is not disabled.
If it is, click on the control with your mouse, click the Enable radio button, then click OK.
| |
| | If it still doesn't work, right click the Start Menu and select Explore. Select the Tools menu, then select Folder Options. | |
| |
Select the File Types tab and scroll down until you find the WAV extension.
If you don't find WAV, then it is not associated with your media player. You need to either reinstall your media player and make sure you associate WAV files with it, or manually configure it using the New button.
If you see WAV, but it is not associated with your media player of choice, click the Change button to associate it with preferred player.
If you still can't get it to work, please contact your computer's administrator.
